 ECS was founded in 1990 in New York City.
The company was part of the Con Edison Apple energy savings program. At that
time the company concentrated on lighting and other energy saving solutions.
Over the years the company has grown and searched for new products and
solutions for our customers.
ECS spent many years working with the
telecommunications industry during the boom of the 1990's. During that time we
built out high tech switching facilities, server rooms, and co-location space
throughout New York, New Jersey and other states. These facilities required
significant and specialized HVAC systems to handle the BTU's produced by the
sensitive equipment housed in them. The electrical demands for these facilities
were significant with full battery and generator back up systems. ECS has returned
its complete focus to energy conservation, and bring our expertise we have
developed in the high-tech world to our customers today. 
Energy is a resource necessary for every business,
whether the business sells goods or services, has 10 or 10,000 employees, or is
located in Alaska or Antigua. Using energy efficiently helps businesses
maintain (or improve) their image as a responsible environmental concern while
improving the bottom line. Improved energy efficiency means realizing more profit
per unit of energy.
We redirect real dollars from our customers' utility
company back to the bottom line by turning wasted energy from inefficient
heating cooling and refrigeration equipment into cash.
There is a lot of energy that can be saved. EPA estimates
American businesses can reduce, on average, 30% of their energy use by
targeting energy that is used unnecessarily or inefficiently. ECS can help you
attain those goals with an ROI of months rather than years. Our proposition is
very simple; for a small initial investment we can decrease the amount of oil,
gas or electricity that is consumed by your existing boilers, hot-water
heaters, HVAC and/or refrigeration systems, and overall electric usage.
Another critical component of every ECS project is the
education of our customers about their own energy use patterns in order to

The products we offer immediately reduce energy
consumption by heating, air-conditioning, HVAC and refrigeration systems by as
much as 30 percent. Product performance has been validated by performance
testing at internationally recognized research facilities including; Brookhaven
 National Laboratories, NYSERDA, Brooklyn Union (KeySpan), and ConEd
Solutions. Our products are also UL and ETL listed as meeting the highest
safety standards.
Our product lines includes Intellidyne (IntelliCon)
controls for hydronic, steam and forced air heating systems, refrigeration
systems and package/rooftop air conditioning units. We offer a PROA (polarized
Oil Refrigerant Additive) to significantly restore the efficiency of your air
conditioning and refrigeration systems. In addition ECS will retrofit
inefficient AC systems with oil free compressors. The Company can also reduce the
electric bills for entire facilities though power factor correction and sub
metering programs. By design, all products work with new and existing systems;
are easily and non-invasively installed; won't violate manufacturer's
warranties; and are totally maintenance free.
