The ECS team is made up of a group of experienced professionals that been working together for many years.  They include:

Paul Mazza, President

Mr. Mazza, the founder and president of Energy Conservation Services Corp. has been in the energy conservation industry for over ten years and has extensive experience marketing, selling and installing energy conservation products in the New York metropolitan area.  Paul regularly meets with residential and commercial landlords and management companies to review their energy use and design an energy conservation program to fit their needs.  Paul has developed an extensive network of contacts in both power generating companies and power advisory agencies who have joined together to promote energy conservation. Paul is also constantly on the lookout for new energy conservation products to offer our customers and is experienced in researching and assessing the viability and cost effectiveness of these new products.

John T. McCarron, Vice President/General Counsel

Mr. McCarron is currently a member of the law firm of John T. McCarron, P.C. in Melville, New York.  After serving as an Assistant District Attorney in the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, John has specialized in the representation of construction companies and small businesses for the past ten years and has represented ECS for the past nine years.

John has worked closely with Paul Mazza for many years on a number of energy conservation and construction projects and has extensive experience drafting and negotiating contracts with building owners.  John also has extensive municipal and regulatory law experience having represented municipalities, townships and public authorities.

Niko Gershon, Director of Engineering

Nissim “Niko” Gershon is a 25-year veteran of the telecommunications industry.  Niko entered the industry in 1973 as a technician and later a lieutenant in the Israeli Defense Forces, Signal Corps.  Arriving in the USA in 1977 Niko received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (1979) and a Master of Science in Computer Science (1981) from the Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn.  Niko worked for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey and IBM...  He worked as an engineer for several telecommunications companies having worked his way up to Vice President of Network Engineering.

Having an extensive engineering background Niko brings those skills to ECS. He will be largely responsible for data analysis, savings calculations, and project management to ensure that we provide a complete accurate installation for our customers.

Peter Tierney, Special Advisor

Peter Tierney has a wide range of experience starting and operating technology businesses both within existing corporate entities and as stand-alone operations.  He is experienced in developing business plans and budgets, money raising, technology selection and implementation and sales and marketing.   He has worked extensively in the telecommunications and media technology fields and has successfully started three companies.  Peter is serving in an advisory capacity to the company.

He is also a partner of Strategic Media Group, an investment and advisory group in the media technology and broadcast industries.
